Just Watched: Death in Holy Orders

BBC Entertainment is my new addiction on TATA Sky after Fox Crime and FX took center stage during the winter. After Kuku and I were in sheer awe of the series premiere of Sherlock on the channel, we kept checking for more and this, a film made for television viewers, was one of the things that we were impressed by.

Based on the novel by P.D. James, and featuring his acclaimed character Adam Dalgliesh, Death in Holy Orders deals with a suspicious murder and the subsequent solving of the mysteries surrounding it. Classic detective fiction at its very best. I’m not too sure about who the actors were, save for Martin Shaw, who played Adam Dalgliesh rather convincingly.

Not brilliant in any way, but makes for a good watch on a Sunday night. I, for one, liked it a lot.
